Mix. Mould. Smudge. Dream. Try again.

At Appeliefie, art is a place to play, get your hands messy and begin again. Babies, children and adults are welcome to follow their curiosity, enjoy the materials and make something that feels like their own. It’s about the doing, not the result, and the calm, courage and confidence that grow along the way.

Klein Spruite

(little sprouts)

6 - 24 months

Where little hands begin their creative journey.

Through movement, play and sensory exploration, little ones scribble, squish and discover what their hands can do. Naming the colours, textures and marks they make helps build the bridge between imagination and first words, and you’ll be right beside them the whole way.

What your little one will gain:

  • Confidence to explore new textures and movements

  • Stronger fine motor skills

  • Early language as they name their world through art

Kreatiewe Knoppies

(creative buds)

3 - 12 years

Where imagination starts to take shape.

Through playful exploration of colour and form, children turn their big ideas into pictures and stories. Every brushstroke helps them to find their voice, solve problems along the way, and share what’s inside their wonderful minds.

What your child will gain:

  • Creative confidence and imagination

  • Problem-solving skills

  • A foundation for self-expression and storytelling through art

Bloeisels

(blossoms)

Adults

Slow down, unwind and make art that is entirely your own. No experience needed.

Step away from the busyness of the day and into a calm, welcoming space to paint, draw and play with clay and mixed media. There are no expectations and no “right” result, only the quiet joy of creating at your own pace. And when a brushstroke refuses to cooperate, you’ll find the courage to simply try again.

What you will gain:

  • A peaceful pause from the pace of everyday life

  • Confidence to experiment and trust your own creative voice

  • New skills and techniques, whether you’re a beginner or picking up a brush again after years
